    A 7" single - remember them!?

A friend hipped me to this the other day and I bagged the first copy I came across. It's actually the B side - the A side is 'Tenderness', which I don't imagine I'll ever play...

Dylan Bootleg Series "Travelin Thru" Vinyl box. Felt it was the weakest one in w while, the Cash / Dylan sessions were interesting but not something I would be spinning regularly - but surprise! - my wife has taken to them so it is played non-stop last couple of days. The vinyl box it a bit flimsy compared to the previous luxurious boxes though

"Fleetwood Mac" by themselves. It's pressed on a tasteful white vinyl -- though the yellow-orange Reprise label looks downright strange against that background. The sound is excellent though, so I can live with the appearance.

I hadn't listened to this album in more than 40 years, and yesterday's first playing was a great reminder of how good it is. Both Christine McVie's and Stevie Nicks' voices are just a bit less refined than on "Rumours" (which I like) and Lindsey Buckingham's guitar work is just right. Moreover, the album showcases the rock-solid FM rhythm section, one of the things I like most about the band. I think I like this album even better than "Rumours".

You may want to end up cancelling the olive green, I believe it will be the same as the US indie exclusive but preorders have not gone up still so I don't want to sabotage you at this stage until they go live somewhere (it's been stressing me out as someone who orders for record stores, we only have cd preorders up so far but I heard someone mention elsewhere the us will have an olive green indie)
