It absolutely is. I’ve had jobs since I was 12. When I was 15 I lied about my age to get my first minimum wage job. I never thought “hey... I’ve made it. I can now rest comfortably for the rest of my life, have a family, afford a house, etc.” Not with one of the minimum wage jobs I’ve held.
I was watching DelFest on nugs tv, but the sync got all messed up, so I'm finishing Dave's 34, and will proceed immediately to the 2020 bonus disc.
Definitely a hot show. That being said, I don't think Spring 90 is underrated anymore than May 77 is underrated.
@bmoregnr definitely caught it. Also @adamos It never ceases to annoy me when people write into those AMAs with stuff like 'no question, but you're great.' People only answer a limited number of questions, and the person answering always has to say something like 'oh thanks,' so you just wasted a spot for a real question. Put that in comments and she'll read later.
That makes sense. Trust me...a dude with a friggin NakDragon strapped to his chest made no sense to me. I “D’d” it...guess that’s what 85-87ish??? I don’t know. Guessing it’s earlier than I think. ...it’s really beautiful. What’d you guys end with?
Listening to and loving Dick’s Vol. 3, almost nonstop the last two days. Can someone recommend to me the best leftovers/or better yet, complete concert version? I see some on archive.org but is one of them the best or is there somewhere else I should be looking? I think there's a Charlie Miller version out there which may be the best one of the complete concert, but I can't figure out where to find it or how to save it. Thanks!
So, you’re saying that the band was better in 1990 than in 1970? I can’t say that I agree, but they made great music at both times, that’s for sure.
I tend to think I get more bang for my buck by buying physical copies, so I only have to buy it once, instead of renting it in perpetuity. This has the additional bonus of allowing me to retain ownership even if the band decides to pull their music from the streaming service for any reason.
Just head on over to archive.org and knock yourself out. Saving... that takes some recommending that isn't really authorized here I think Google is your friend though! At a minimum you can hit up relisten.net or download the app if you're using your phone. Basically no learning curve and you'll find it pretty easily.
