Not including telephone lyrics because it would be never ending about the operator or change for a phone etc.

I'm going with Extra Extra as in The Who Extra Extra Read All About It or Streisand Extra Extra I'm In Love from The Main Event

There are still printed papers and letters on a daily basis. However Human League's "Almost Medieval" offers plenty of scope:

"Jump off the tarmac there's no stagecoach speed limit
Outside the office hangs the man on the gibbet"

John Sebastian and the Lovin' Spoonful from 'Darlin' Be Home Soon':
"And now a quarter of my life is almost passed"
That line got a pretty good laugh from the audience (and a smile from John) when I saw him perform back in 1985 - so imagine now.
    - Then again maybe it's not quite so funny at this point

    While the sun is ascending
And I'll just be getting home with my reel to reel"

I know most people on here still love or even own reel to reels (me included), but to the general public they're an absolute relic.

How about Elvis in "Got A Lot Of Livin' To Do"
"And it's telling you to pitch a little woo with me"
Does anyone today have a clue what that means?

Here's an old song with the title and a link for the definition of courting or seeking affection.

Already an anachronism when he issued it. Being a nerd I had to investigate and found out that Leo's song appeared some 6 years after mainline steam locomotives ceased operating in UK.
