It is possible to pick one, but Back to the Future, Caddyshack, Ferris Bueller, Fast Times at Ridgemont High, The Princess Bride, Rocky III and about 55 others are all in the conversation.

    I haven't decided yet.

Post #79 for the first mention of Caddyshack? Maybe my favorite comedy of all time; holds its own against the other comedies already mentioned in this thread, IMO. I doubt I would place it at the top of my 80's list, but it's up there.

Somebody mentioned on his official twitter account about an extended Rocky Balboa.. And Sly / official people tweeted no not RB .. but Rocky IV Drago ( creed connection).. yeah the training montage was excellent. The original film trailer had bits in it that didn’t make the theatrical cut.

Airplane! is my all time favorite movie.

Just wanted to add that for years, I wanted to see if I could find a film better than Raiders for the year that film came out.
IMO Prince of the City is one of the all time great 80s films that often gets overlooked.

Great era, but unlike the '90s poll it's easy to pinpoint a single favorite.

Just look at my Avatar and forum name.
