12, the rest I wouldn't give house space to.

Tellingly, very few of them are actually among my favourite (or regularly played) albums.

Dangerous, Rumours and Dark Side would probably be my picks.

    9. I've had 17 of them. In 2000 all our CDs were stolen, about 800, (had about the same number of records which wern't stolen) and I just never replaced them.

I'm surprised Kind of Blue isn't on the list.

Some of the 20 are 'not' something I would consider timeless

I was surprised that I have 15. A little surprised and cool that Bruce is on that list.
Another cool surprise. I remember a British road movie (set in Italy) in which that was the only CD they had in the car so it de facto became the soundtrack.

Five - Pepper , Abbey Road, Hotel California, Dark Side of The Moon and Born in The USA - the last one is part of the albums box. I would not buy it on its own, I count myself as a Springsteen fan, biut like that album the least of his 1972 - 1984 output.

One - although I did buy 2 others that I’ve discarded.
I’m okay with that too - most of the rest is crap....

Album sales do not = quality.

I'm surprised Thriller isn't in more collections. Isn't it the top seller of all time?

It's also weird that his next 2 albums made the list, but I bet that many more people here own Off the Wall.

The only thing I might add someday is Grease.

    I've got eight.

    Hotel California
    LZ IV
    Back in Black
    Abbey Road
    Sgt. Pepper
    Dark Side of the Moon
    Rumours
    Born in the USA

Don't fancy any other from the list.

  22. OK, that's 20 out of 25! Well, they are the biggest selling for a reason.

Admittedly, though, I only bought three of them new myself. All the rest were second hand.

We also have John Farnham's "Whispering Jack" and Dire Straits "Brothers In Arms". These albums were basically all that was #1 on the charts in Australia in 1986.
