I've also been watching some older British comedy shows I never new existed until recently. If you have a quirky or off beat sense of humor you might like these.

Brusier - sketch comedy with a young Martin Freeman along side Mitchell and Webb from Peep Show
Garth Marenghi's Darkplace - a campy satire that includes Matty Berry and Richard Ayoade from the IT Crowd
Man to Man with Dean Learner - a spin off series from Darkplace above
Snuff Box - a dark sitcom with Matt Berry
The Might Boosh - pretty odd humor here but I like it, with Noel Fielding and others

Most episodes are up on youtube. Funny stuff!

Just added 3rd season of Police Woman to my rotation. Also, Deadline, a lost late 50s newspaper reporter show which came out a few months ago on DVD. Also going to add The Eleventh Hour (the 60s one, not the new one) to the mix. I may also add another 70s sitcom that I never saw, but haven't decided which one yet.

My wife and I have watched all five seasons of Family Affair and The Doris Day Show (it really went downhill after season 2) and are now working our way through Mod Squad and My Favorite Martian and Route 66.

I just started Mister Ed, but my wife is not interested.

I have never seen this one so I watched the first episode this evening. It had Tom Laughlin - Billy Jack - as the boxer in it.

Not a bad show so I will watch a few more episodes.

Someone mentioned Decoy. Never saw that one either so I watched the first episode. Not great but I"ll probably watch a couple more to see if it gets better.

    Our household 'while we have our evening meal' viewing;

Frasier from start to finish in the first half or so of this year, then Becker, and now 24, got as far as season 2 / day 2 so far. Planning on making our way through all seasons of 24, maybe move on to Roseanne or Third Rock from the Sun after that.

Other than that, it's mostly current or recent stuff.

Newhart used to air on Antenna TV. I think they may have removed it from their schedule a year or so ago. My favorite Newhart episode was "Take Me To Your Louden" when Dick and Joanne host a Halloween night costume party at the Inn and Orson Welles style panic sets in when the local TV station broadcasts War of the Worlds.

Culp was such an underrated actor. I enjoyed GAH as a kid and still have a fond appreciation for it as an adult, mostly for the chemistry between the three leads. That was some terrific casting there.

I discovered Man With A Camera last year and almost bought the complete series DVD release for $9.99. Someone recently posted all the episodes on YouTube, so I was able to sample a few episodes before purchasing. I really dig these old B&W noir styled crime shows.

After his lawyer days, elevated to an NYC judge. Al Pacino defended him till he didn't. Jack Warden considered Pacino to be out of order, till Pacino noted that the whole trial and the judicial system was out of order.

I've always liked Laverne and Shirley as really cute, but had never watched the TV program. So early this year I bought the boxset, and by March started to think it would be something light that would help me through the pandemic.

Wrong, I must have watched as few as 10 episodes, and am ready to unload it.
