Don't know what it is about that show but it has a sense of dread in spades (music, 60s cinematography).

I'd like to go back to the 1970s Doctor Who with Pertwee and Baker. How are the DVDs? Anyone got any box sets to recommend ?

Some great series I’ve watched recently thanks to lockdown:

    Upload - great sci-fi comedy
Tales from the Loop - I loved it, reminded me a little of The Leftovers. It’s a little slow but worth it.
The Man in the High Castle - late to the party but I really enjoyed the premise, it got a little boring towards the end tho.
Avenue 5 - not as funny as I’d hoped but just about watchable.

I just finished watching the Crisis On Infinite Earths event on the CW (five episodes, with the story appearing in Green Arrow, Supergirl, Batwoman, The Flash, and Legends of Tomorrow). A very good adaption of the comic miniseries of the same name. The series features nods to many of the previous DC movies and TV shows, including Batman (the '60s TV show), The Flash (the early '90s TV series), Smallville, and the Superman movies starring Christopher Reeve, and also many comic stories (such as The Death Of Superman and Kingdom Come). I was surprised how dark the series was at points.

H&I channel is showing episodes of the Untouchables. A bit violent. Just watched an episode where gangsters machine gunned a truckload of Mexican prostitutes. Yikes! Of course, the difference between 1960 violence and 2020 violence is that the camera was on the machine gunners, not the prostitutes. Shocking nevertheless.
