Am I alone in this universe buying cds regularly? New and used, still the majority of my music buying.

Very few new, but many used from the late 80’s / early 90’s.

I buy both vinyl and CDs. Often the album I want is released on CD only. Or, I will buy a vinyl album, and then force myself to purchase the CD because the CD comes with bonus tracks. I buy the occasional used CD, but most of the CDs I purchase are new (though they still might be old, if that makes sense).

    Not me.
I sometimes look at CDs at the thrifts, but pretty much never see anything I want. And around here, they want way too much for used CDs. They seem to think they are still the latest and greatest tech, and somehow desirable. I have been considering dumping all my CD players because they never get used. I use my 8 track players more, and have more tapes than CDs.:uhhuh:

Give my vinyl or digital files, and I'm happy.

Yes, but very, very few. I have Tidal streaming 96/24 & it makes me very, very happy.

I still buy them, and like you they are the majority of my music purchases.

This is a great time to buy them, as 80-90% of the titles out there are available very inexpensively.

Same. I feel like I’m somehow misrepresenting in my yes answer because while I buy cds, I don’t play cds - it’s just the plastic wrapper digital files come in.

Rarely. I did buy all three SRC albums on a two disc set. That's the first new CD's I'd bought in over a year. $1 things at the thrifts or $4 discs used? Sure.

Yes. I've gone back to buying CD's for many releases now as I am tired of crappy vinyl pressings. Plus, the CD is often half the price of the vinyl.
