I just caught this image over on Facebook and was very surprised:

This looks like a multi-disc HD Blu-ray collection of what might be every Bugs Bunny cartoon ever made, which I'm guessing would be at least 50 shorts, which would be 10 two-hour discs. Could potentially be a lot more, maybe as many as 200 shorts on 10 2.5-hour (or longer) discs. Anybody know anything about this? I think the packaging is legit.

The timing is correct, since the first Bugs Bunny cartoon is generally considered to be "Porky's Hare Hunt" from July of 1940 (exactly 80 years ago). I hope WB was able to reconstruct any missing title credits and do a reasonable job remastering all these classic shorts to HD.

I recently bought the 3 volumes of Looney Tunes on Blu ray. I was surprised at the job they did restoring these. They looked amazing.

I saw on another site this is supposed to be released on October 21 2020. I don't know how reliable the source is but I will definitely be on the lookout for further announcements.

I can’t imagine it will include All This and Rabbit Stew or Bugs Bunny Nips the Nips.

Warner released the Tex Avery Collection Vol. 1 completely intact and included a disclaimer at the beginning of the shorts, so it's entirely possible that they do the same with Bugs.

He starred in over 160 cartoons so I assume given the size of the box it has most of those.

I didn’t know about that release. Thanks.

Is there an up-to-date list somewhere of what Looney Tunes shorts have yet to be released on DVD or Blu Ray?

I should be happy, but all I can see is another missed opportunity to do something comprehensive.

    I know.
And the fact they said “some of which have never been released.” If it’s only 60, then at least make it 60 that have never been released.
