he was a good actor. Remember him well throughout the years...R.I.P

This news really frigging hurts. I love John Saxon. I'm not sure if he was considered a great actor but I always enjoyed his appearances in so many horror films. Geez, he was in Mario Bava and Dario Argento flicks and that's only a dent in his filmography. A really handsome guy in his prime too. RIP John Saxon. Man, it's getting harder to find a reason to live anymore.

Oh dear! I really liked and and really enjoyed his work. I thought about him the other day.

He was so awesome as Sador in Battle Beyond the Stars.

 

And sitcoms as well...

 

What a terrible shame. Among many memorable roles (and scenes), his 'hat roll' in Argento's Tenebre always gets a laugh. A truly talented actor. RIP, Sir.

 

He's good in War Hunt and trades scenery-chewing quite effectively with Brando in The Appaloosa

 

John was an exploitation stalwart of the first order. You never knew where or when he was going to pop up because he made every kind of movie imaginable. I think the last movie I saw him in was Moonshine County Express with Claudia Jennings and William Conrad! RIP John. Thanks for all the great movie moments.
