    Interesting question, and so I don't mean to dismiss it, but it's a bit like saying, "What if Woody Guthrie had been a Nigerian prince?" The Beatles' background, personalities, influences and and music were so inherently British, they simply wouldn't have been The Beatles had they been born and raised in America.

    Would the Brits have realized that Please Please Me was actually recorded before With the Beatles?

    Would the Beatles have cared about the duophonic releases or were they just present for the mono fold downs?
