Just finished binging the whole thing, one of the best shows I've ever seen.

Nothing like the Gilliam film, they're both two different masterpieces.

    The Wire

    and

    The Bureau

The long term narrative vision is incredible. Each takes a couple episodes to kick in, because they're laying the ground work, playing long ball in the best sense, and turn all the conventional restrictions of episodic tv inside out. The Wire is about he best tv/movie/ whatever I've ever seen. Bureau isn't far behind.

Underbelly. I hope I can introduce at least person to this phenomenon tv series from Australia. It now available to stream for the first time ever in North America. It’s on Amazon Prime.
    Watch Underbelly | Prime Video
There’s 7 seasons but unfortunately season 4 is unavailable. Luckily it’s an anthology series so skipping season 4 is no biggie. Each season of this multi award winning series takes you through a 13 episode run in the rise and fall of real life Australian underworld figures as told from both sides of the law.

I'm a big horror buff and I love gritty action cop dramas, but I needed a break. I'm in the middle of the second season of Heartland. It's just the balm I need in this crazy time we're living in. It's sort of a modern Canadian take on The Waltons. There are like 14 seasons of it and I believe it's still going strong. It can be really corny but it's just so comfy for a change of pace.

The Knick has arrived on HBO MAX so we have begun to watch. Don't know how we missed this on Cinemax back in 2014, great series. Really enjoyed episodes one and two so far.

  13. Trailer Park Boys and Superstore have been my primary binge watches - gone through them both twice and still dipping back in regularly. I’m surprised by how good Superstore is - it has a great ensemble cast and generally avoids the pitfalls of American sitcom writing (ie, idiot plots and forced misunderstandings).

Absolutely! Watched it three times, great acting, pacing, cinematography. I prefer tge first two seasons, the last two lost pace, more an afterthought.
