Don't cheat, only two chords. No grace chords, just two! What is yours? This is mine.

Eddy Grant of Electric Avenue fame. Loved it back then. 1968 here, right?

Just curious. I like simple stuff. My RCA-Victor 45 of this is one of the best sounding 45's in my entire collection. Just fab sound, nothing like this YouTube rendition..

Why get all complex with two chords? What’s your favorite one-chord song?

(But seriously, I can’t think of any. Do any exist? Must sound pretty boring!).

  6. Two chords, Bad by U2. Without being bothered to go listen to it on YouTube, I believe it's just two chords.

But Bono had another chord in reserve, as he sang in the verse he saw fit to add to U2's cover of All Along The Watchtower. :thumbsdow

One Chord, Keep On Chooglin' by Credence Clearwater Revival.

If "Watermelon In Easter Hay" has two chords, that's my pick. I only ever heard A maj 7 and E, but some online sites say there are others.

Pretty sure the entire thing is just G and C. That song was a real eye-opener for me in terms of what a melody and a narrative could do to make something incredibly simple seem...slightly more complex.

I don't know if it counts because it modulates up a step though still 2 chords.
    First to come to mind.
