I wonder if the Are You Experienced SACD pre-orders might eventually come through? I ordered along with the monoVanilla Fudge (which I received) and 5.1 Pink Floyd DSOTM SACDs.

 

Wondering the same about Bob Dylan's MFSL Oh Mercy (vinyl) - though I think they already sold out of the 1st run, at least.

 

Mine too. In fact, the charge is listed as pending on my RedCard statement. Considering I have zero balance, I was wondering what the heck that was until I remembered ordering this.

 

I took that as a sign that they at least plan to ship out something. Fingers crossed.

Yeah the Target delays are a great sign- I expect to get a couple more before the release date. It means SOMETHING is coming instead of a 404 product page and an email saying sorry this product is not available and your card has not been charged

Same! My State of the Tenor jacket is bent to hell, but the vinyl looks to be in ok shape. I'll spin it once before it goes back for an exchange. I canceled my uDiscover order for It's Time and the Stanley Turrentine title, preordered the latter and went out to a local store to pick up the former. Gotta scratch that itch! uDiscover was able to ship The Kicker, which I'd put on a separate order, so I'll try to be patient for that one, lol.

 

Anyone else receive their "Approve Delay" email for Neil Young Archives II this AM? Now shipping Sep. 17....

From JamBase: Legendary musician Neil Young announced the release dates for three upcoming archival projects via a note on Neil Young Archives. Young revealed Neil Young Archives Volume 2 is coming on November 6. Neil Young Archives Volume 2 box set is expected to include a slew of previously unreleased material spanning 1972 – 1976.

 

Approved here as well!

 

The NY Archives site itself is listing a release date (as of today) of 11/20/2020, so we can look forward to at least 3-4 additional "Target approve delay" emails.

So! The Neil Young Times EP is now up for pre-order and list price is $9.99... betting this is what we all get 3 copies of but hey, for $7.98 that’s still less than the list price of one copy, right?

Ha I’ll still take it for $7.98 for 3 copies. It’s 7 tracks and I know enough NY fans I can gift this to. I wonder if all the people who pre-ordered multiples will drive this EP into the charts?! Lol

 

FYI, the Target return process for my damaged State of the Tenor, Vol. 1 was easy as Amazon, and I already have my replacement copy, which looks flawless.

Target's LP mailers don't seem to have any real crush strength, but at least the exchange process was painless.

 

For what it's worth, the UPC for this release is 093624888956, and the UPC for the Archives preorder was listed as 093624899051.

I'm still holding out hope. Anyone had experiences with Target delay approvals in the past? I'm curious if they cancel orders after a certain number of delays.

 

Same. My replacement copy will be here this weekend.

 

Based on folks here who have had preorders for MOFI stuff stretching back over a year, I don’t think they do cancel unless you miss an approval.

Agreed! It was simple getting a replacement LP. Target did not even ask me to return the LP they originally sent me.
