Nice comfy looking room but what's your system? Your profile is locked so I can't see your gear.

Amazing !!! I'm sure you've read Stereophile on Carver Amazings ... just wondering, I assume these are the 'latest' iterations (whatever that may be) and ... do you use the Carver or other 'box' with them? Just curious. Seems like the Innersound amp (750Wpc into 8 ohms, ??? Wpc into 4) probably has sufficient oomph to drive them. Really cool looking, thought for a moment they were Apogees ...

I haven't looked for other reviews, wondering how they 'compare' to say more conventional floorstanding towers? In terms of imaging, soundstaging, 'accuracy' of timbre, etc..

PS: Seems like Dick Olsher had really good things to say at the end, but (rightly so) couldn't recommend them since the design was still evolving. I can imagine there is a group of Amazing owners and supporters that hopefully is sharing information etc. to continue to enjoy these interesting speakers.

I recognized those speakers right away, and I recall reading Dicks review, wow has it been thirty years ? Stereophile was still printing in the digest size.
I believe there was only one iteration, if so that pair looks minty for their age. Bob didn't dottle on things long, had one of his amps and FM tuners back when, great stuff.:righton:

beautiful. makes me want to empty my room of every last item and start over ! interesting speakers, they look like Apogees but are made by Carver. If they sound like Apogees you can just get lost in the music.

Bob is always ahead of the trends.....3 12"open baffle woofers and 25hz extension.Seems like the open baffle woofer thing has only caught on seriously about 15 years ago.Bob Carver was building these things about 30 years ago i believe.

Enjoying YouTube using Multi CH Stereo mode.

Each red dot represents one stereo amp. Using 4 stereo amps for 5 speakers.

Two blue bars at bottom left and near middle represent 2 Furman 15 Power Factor I, which provide reserved power boost to 4 amps and 2 subs.

    Both rescues
The white male Nick was an actual stray my wife brought home from her office. He's 14-15, got him <1. He's blind now.
The dark female Chica was abused in our neighborhood. My wife found out they were taking her to a kill shelter. No way. She's 13-14 we've had her 12. In other words, no idea.
She's the gentle giant. She's deaf.

[IMG] Led d strips are cool. The ball sat in a vintage case for 20 years and my brother bought it for me after a mere mention. Small LED strip inside and it comes alive like y’all know I dig it:).

Love Murano glass my GF's parents used to spend a month in Venice every year after they retired and bought tons of Murano glass. We visited them one year and toured the glassworks on the island of Murano it's just amazing stuff. BTW Manimal Murano glass ain't hippy it's damned expensive stuff!

Looks great love the led's and everything glowing and pandas!
