Here's an update of my system : Marantz PM14s1 Integrated Oppo BDP-105 Focal Aria 906 Technics Sl-1200mkII ( Audio Technica AT-150mlx ) Mogami W3103 Speaker Cables Blue Jeans, Van Den Hul interconnect cables I really like the neutral sound signature, I can listen to anything without any fatigue!
what great amplifiers you have! would be great to know how you compare the Luxman mq-88uc to the AN OTO SE? I love the Luxman sound, it's among the best amplifiers I ve ever listened to but there's something special about EL84 and how easy and cheap it is to find NOS EL84. I ve been considering the get an OTO SE or Leben CS300x. Unfortunately the OTO SE signature in not in stock and won't be anytime soon and the Leben price just went up 20%... The OTO SE standard version is available at very good price but those power transformers don't feel the same thing...any thoughts?
Is this an indication you're going stir crazy and stalking yourself? Or taken so many inside pics you're bored with them? I prefer no flash and cool view!
Looking great love the flat decor very cool vibe and nice system. I do have two questions, is the floorstanding tube thingie a lamp or room treatment? And what are the two angled black devices on top of your speakers?
It's hard to recommend the standard Oto at the price they charge for it, it honestly feels like it exists solely to entice people towards the signature, which is really the "normal" version of the Oto in my opinion. I'd place the Leben in between the standard and signature Oto in terms of sound quality, but the Leben's stepped attenuator is much easier to live with then either of the Oto's volume control. The Luxman is better then all of them, however. I'd focus on a preamp to pair with it. Edit: I see you actually have a preamp, I was thrown off as I always associate EAR with just phono preamps.
Nah, cheap lol. $25 bottle whiskey, $7 pork loin. 1) coat pork loin with heavy large sea salt and leave sit for an hour 2) wash salt off/pat dry, coat with black pepper, garlic, Italian seasoning 3) heat olive oil hot in skillet, sear outside to a crisp brown 4) drizzle with olive oil, roll in tin foil and put in oven for 18 min at 400 degrees 5) Dice onion, red pepper carmalize in skillet with couple tbs of whiskey, butter and oregano 6) Check with thermometer And take out when it reaches 150 degrees in center 7) two tbs of Greek yogurt, one lemon -juice, pinch of pepper, paprika, salt, garlic and a drop or two of organic maple syrup...stir let the pork rest about 5-10 min while you make the sauce... pretty easy
