Same. It left the USA on Aug 8 and it’s been in Canada since Aug 28. What a **** delivery service.

Dave’s Picks needs a digital download option for next year.

I bet many would give up a physical copy for a timely and reliable delivery of purchased goods.

The "why pay for what the Archive offers for free?" crowd might beg to differ. That said, I have been wondering whether pandemic- and postal-related concerns may be forcing some reevaluation on the part of record companies. I can't imagine this is doing much to help slow the decline of physical product.

 

What the Archive offers does not sound as good as what the GD sell us.

 

As much as people would like to think, the Archive does not offer what the Dave’s Pick series offers.

 

Right and therein lies the reason they won't do that

And probably 37 at the same time to drive subscriptions. Particularly after the approach they've taken with WD50 and AB50 -- and with the "hint" of "something special" for 36 -- I'm starting to lean toward a joint announcement of 9/26 and 9/28/72.

 

Or 2-20-71 and 2-23-71.

 

I think they announced the last Dave's Pick just after WD50 came out, maybe even the very next day, which gave them about 6 weeks of lead time for the release. Assuming that DiP36 will be released on November 1, I expect to see the announcement by early next week.

Scratch that. Apparently WD50 came out on July 10; Lemieux announced on Twitter that same day that they'd start to take new orders for DiP35 on July 16. So the lead time for release was just about a few weeks. We may not see the next announcement until October.

 

Maybe get another hobby?
