Good decade, not just for music.

  5. Probably Doctor Who for me. Followed by The Prisoner and Star Trek.

This is a tough one for me as I love a lot of 60s shows. I really love 77 Sunset Strip and all of its spin offs- Hawaiian Eye, Surfside Six and Bourbon Street Beat (probably my least favorite). I think the best quality would be two shows from the same producers- Naked City and Route 66.I might give a slight edge to Naked City.

I enjoyed some of the westerns. Big Valley and Virginian. Bonanza not so much. The Name of The Game was another favorite.

Not quite sure if these are all "series" in the strictest sense, but they certainly are favorites: :)

    Star Trek
    Batman
    The Addams Family
    Monty Python's Flying Circus

Yeah, my first thought was The Fugitive as well, although I wasn't a regular viewer - too young.
Star Trek of course, because of its' phenomenal staying power through syndication.
But really, for pure mind-eff'ery, gotta be all about Number 6, The Village, and the giant beach ball. Ahead of its' time.

    Be seeing you!

I used to watch Rat Patrol a lot too but I can't remember if it was actually a good show. Since it appears to have disappeared into the ether, I am guessing not. I was a GI Joe kid too so that may have colored my perspective...

I think there’s a difference between “best” and “favorite”. I have to admit that “I Dream of Jeannie” is a favorite, but I would never suggest it as anywhere near best.

For best I’d vote for “The Fugitive”. I think “The Prisoner” is up there too, but “The Fugitive” is more accessible.
