Amazon AU price watch thread...

That's the way to do it right.

 

It depends on who you encounter.
With my Gentle Giant box set, the first guy said he couldn't do anything better than 20% refund and had to get a supervisor.
No contact from supervisor, so the next guy I contacted refunded the whole lot and told me to keep the massive box set.
I got the refund email a few days later, and the reason was something completely different than what I raised.

 

Yeah there is no hard and fast rule with them - they want whaetver is most expedient, and the least effort for them.

Sadly not - I went back on their site and it's now saying that the CD set is too heavy to ship to Australia as well, whereas it didn't when I pre-ordered and they haven't contacted me to cancel. Considering the good price, I'll wait and see what happens.

 

What sort of delivery time are we getting from ImportCDs generally for in stock stuff?

 

No idea - I haven't received anything from them post COVID.

OK thats interesting. I also ordered from there and have had some heavy stuff shipped previously. Anyway I'll keep my order active and see what happens around release date...

Absolutely. I placed an AmazonAU order as a safegaurd. Just gotta make sure I cancel it in time if need be.

 

Got a response tonight on my 4LP set that was mangled...
