To Die For, Kids and Under Siege 2 are missing from the list.

Casino is a repulsive movie. I loathe every character from the start of the film and each gets worse as it plays on.

Surprisingly few movies I like came out in 1995. "12 Monkeys" is the best of the lot listed but that film didn't get a wide release till 1996 so it barely counts. I know "Leaving Las Vegas" and "Se7en" are pretty powerful films but I've had no desire to revisit them since their theatrical run. I've seen "The Usual Suspects" and "Get Shorty" recently and they're not as good as I remembered them. I despised "Waterworld" so much I changed the channel / walked out of the room whenever one of its trailers appeared. Don't even get me started about "Showgirls".

If I had to pick three of my favorite movies from 1995 I'd pick "12 Monkeys" then "Nine Months" and finally "Four Rooms". I'm sure I need to give some of these films a second chance but looking over the lot I'm either indifferent toward or actively hostile about a good many of them. Guess it's just not my favorite year for film...

I salute you sir for Under Siege 2: Dark Territory.

Guangzhou is a chemical weapons plant masquerading as a fertilizer plant. We know this. The Chinese know that we know. But we make-believe that we don't know and the Chinese make-believe that they believe that we don't know, but know that we know. Everybody knows.

'To Die For ' was a great movie. Nicole Kidman was fantastic in it. Good ending too.

12 Monkeys and Usual Suspects were my votes...but, you gotta add Before Sunrise and Crumb. They'd have gotten my votes.

I just revisited Houseguest, a fun movie still made me laugh.
Heat, Leaving Las Vegas, Braveheart, Bad Boys, Die Hard with a Vengeance.... all favorites..

Angus (1995) - this one has not been mentioned, wonderful teen movie. I must watch it again, it's been a while :)

lol from Billy Madison..." Mr. Madison, what you have just said is one of the most insanely idiotic things I have ever heard. At no point in your rambling, incoherent response were you even close to anything that could be considered a rational thought. Everyone in this room is now dumber for having listened to it. I award you no points, and may God have mercy on your soul"..... classic :)

there was also Bridges of Madison County with Clint and Meryl, did nobody enjoy it?

I chose 12 Monkeys, Se7en and "Other" to represent Welcome to the Dollhouse, a cult indie comedy that was basically Napoleon Dynamite before Napoleon Dynamite.

Stretching the rules of eligibility a bit: I'd like to plug Exotica by Armenian-Canadian director Atom Egoyan (best known for The Sweet Hereafter). It played at Cannes in 1994, but didn't hit widespread release until 1995.

not yet mentioned in any lists are these erotic suspense thrillers, kind of Basic Instinct type of movies. Won't be in my top, but ok to see if nothing else to do
Never Talk to Strangers.... suspense thriller with Rebecca De Mornay and Antonio Banderas. Has a bit of a Lifetime movie feel, but ok
