Good catch, I'm not 100% sure now. However, he's cut all the other most recent titles that came out at the same time as Live in NYC. I'd be very surprised if it wasn't a Chris Bellman cut. I have a copy of the reissue coming from Amazon, I'll check the deadwax on that when it arrives, but who knows if the price on Amazon will jump back up by then. If the other reissues are any indication, this one should sound very nice.
Mine arrived. Not particularly well packed. Which I would argue was not the best way to travel. But arrived without damage.
The distinctive CB is in the deadwax of the new version of Springsteen Live in NYC. So definitely a Bellman cut.
That's great. I actually ordered it (hoping that would be the case) when it was still $17.99. Now it is $30.47! Thank you for the tip!

lol. the Beatles box is nice, I can say by and large these singles have favorable sound compared to originals. I have collected since '64, so I know my fabs.
Chicks - Sound of the Chicks CD $7.87 https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B084H49857/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o02_s01?ie=UTF8&psc=1
I don't care if God cut this record. I still need to know what it sounds like before I'll spend any money on it. I just checked. Every side is over 20 minutes. Most are 22-23 minutes long. Two sides are over 25 minutes. This should have been a 4LP set, not 3.
Sopwith Camel - The Miraculous Hump Returns from the Moon (Limited Marbled "Smoke" Vinyl Edition) - $13.01 --Real Gone 2020 reissue...might be on sale in upcoming Real Gone vinyl sale coming September 22?
LP cheaper than CD. How often does this happen? Sonny Landreth LP Blacktop Run $7.86 https://www.amazon.com/Blacktop-Run.../ref=tmm_vnl_swatch_0?_encoding=UTF8&qid=&sr=
Because the engineer has to respect the demands of the artist, when the artist cares enough to make them and has clout. Previous Springsteen vinyl product has sounded crappy, and the engineer in those cases threw up his hands and said that he delivered the product as the client insisted it sound.
I've never heard a bad Bellman cut, regardless of the artist. If you think a CB deadwax is a risky proposition, then collecting modern vinyl may not be for you because it isn't going to get much better. And I don't know which Springsteen vinyl sounds crap- I think the Plangent Process catalog remasters are revelatory, and I've heard Magic sounds way better than the bricked out CD.
