Sometimes these things take time...or as a certain Beatle once said: „Time Takes Time“. Elton John fans had to wait since 1992 for another rarities set...
Ahh, Beatles VI ...my first Beatles vinyl purchase ever. Matter of fact the first time I ever bought vinyl was that album along with Dean Martin's "My Woman My Woman My Wife" at the same time. Seems so long ago.
Yeah, I thought it was right up there with "a born lever-puller"... [high praise, indeed, for any pun!]
Anyone done a thorough dive on the ASCAP site recently? I used to check it pretty regularly, but they redid the site a few years ago and I found it much more cumbersome to explore... Anyway, a sharp-eyed lady PM'd me, noting that she wasn't familiar with "Let Myself Down" or "Till You Drop" … and neither am I! The latter one, in particular, seems to have a very high "work number" which might indicate it's newly copyrighted (?). Maybe @cb70 can chime in and help us figure out some of the new songs in advance?
@cb70 spotted "Let Myself Down" three years ago. He spotted "Till We Drop" in February. Perhaps it has been renamed.

Hmm, didn’t netflix acquire the rights to that about a year ago or so? And I remember a pic floating round of Paul in the studio with Lady Gaga who was supposed to be supplying one of the voices and singing a few tracks as well. Don't get me wrong as excited as I would be for that (and the broadway musical...sheesh when does this guy sleep?!) I do hope this doesn’t wind up being what it is and is indeed a proper studio album
“Proper studio album”*? Not sure exactly what that entails. This will be McCartney III, completely written, produced and performed by Paul alone. Dec 11, 2020. *to me, that’s *not* a proper studio album, but I’ll happily purchase it!
I'm a big supporter of the rumor that a McCartney III project is coming. It's not my rumor, but I'm deeply hopeful. The McCartney projects on the back burner are (let's see if I can remember them all) High in the Clouds It's a Wonderful Life Cavern Club (movie) Guitar Concerto A collection of sound checks So when a title or something seems like it might fit into one of those slots I shout it out. We all go into detective mode when there's a hint of a McCartney project. Just on this page alone there's someone digging into the ASCAP archives and someone else circling a videographer in a blurry picture. This is the fun stuff for me - and most Beatles fans, from the very beginning. Looking for clues and whatnot.
