frustrating isn't it, why they can't just add a filter to show whats in stock it would make so much sense

Yes that's pretty annoying isn't it? If it's not in stock why list it? :(

Not an alert, a question. Does anyone know the latest position on amazon.uk billing? Is it still upon dispatch or earlier? Its changed a few times.

I've got a few pre-orders for October which haven't been pre-charged for. They haven't done this to me at least for some time. I think that little experiment is fortunately over now. With regards to orders of in-stock items, I normally get charged on or soon after ordering. I bought the £50 gift card deal Tuesday this week, and it's just showing on my credit card account today.

Amazon UK went through a short experimental phase earlier in the year where some people got charged up-front for pre-orders of music, box sets etc. I definitely did because I had to complain about it, and others did too. I started a dedicated thread on the subject. They now seemed to have dropped the idea.

It looks like amazon.co.uk finally updated their standard shipping charges to the US. When standard shipping to the US returned in mid-August, the rate was £3.08 for the first item plus £0.99 for each additional item. This is the same rate as pre-pandemic, even though US international postal rates increased significantly in July. Today I'm seeing £6.96 for the first item plus £1.54 for each additional item.

He, if you like The Verve, don't have the main album or the B-sides, for that price it's a steal.

I just noticed that yesterday as well. Although with a preorder I have it is still set at the 3 pound rate, the listing for that item has changed the postage up to 7 pounds. I wonder if I will be charged the 7 pounds when it comes time to ship though - because if so I want to cancel my order now and get it somewhere else which is offering free shipping on it, and it is basically same price as amazon UK (without the shipping charge).

Doesn’t anyone know, is the DVD in the Verve box region free? I’m in the US.

All regions and NTSC compatible according to the box sleeve, so should work fine.

If that image posted above is from the back of the boxset, it does indeed look like the DVD is formatted as NTSC...which is great for us here in North America.

Just opened it up, very impressive. Lovely box for the money. Always loved this album, will look forward to playing the B-sides and live tracks tomorrow. Come to think of it i do have some of the cd singles from this album, Lucky Man definitely but I havent heard the extra tracks in years.

First amazon uk bargain for me in a while. Thanks for posting PH416156
