Mistakes in songs.

Would you like a Beatles one? Of course you would..

In "I want to tell you" George sings "But if I seem to be unkind, it's only me it's not my mind that is confusing things". Some years later he admits he got that line wrong on writing, and he should have written ".. it isn't me it's just my mind... ".

 

...Even if we take it literally, the narrator is maybe idly thinning what car he'd buy!

 

I like it the way it came out. It is as if he tells her "it's only me, it's not my mind" then after rethinking how ridiculous that statement is admits to her "that is confusing things."

 

Donovan made a mistake at the start of one of the line on Legend Of aA Girl Named Linda. Not sure which one, about half way through the song.
