$84 shipped in the US, to US residents, for those who are on this side of the pond. That's slightly cheaper with the conversion rate factored in, even with VAT removed.

I picked that up for a similar price a few months ago. As a bonus it also includes a studio album in 96/24. Total steal.

If anyone had pre-ordered the Dire Straits Vinyl box repress (Ludwig, Bellman, Grundman) due out Friday 9th October on Amazon UK for £125....it's currently £99 shipped from HMV online.

I did have my pre-order with Amazon Italy at €99 Euro (plus shipping + exchange rate + card fees) but decided it's probably going to be similar cost after the extra charges, so swapped to HMV.

    Still haven't opened mine!

FYI: I also ordered the Lee Michaels set. They are all cardboard sleeves. Fortunately only 2 of the Buckley's are cardboard. One of the Michaels was so scratched from the ratty packaging that the last track skips due to scratches, & one of my drives won't scan the disc. I'm supposed to be getting a replacement disc. Getting a bit concerned as I have not received an email from the post ooffice that the package has been shipped, & it's been a week today.

On the bright side, for cd, the Michaels sound pretty good.

    Are the spines readable?
I do not usually keep these inside the box but store them on the shelves within the rest of the collection. I am interested but it would be a sad pass should the spine not be readable.
    Thanks in advance!

    I take my question back.
I thought the box was indeed this one

In case you're interested in "The Complete Album Collection", I've got some bad news for you: Only "Goodbye", "Greetings" and "Afternoon" have readable spines, because they are gatefolds (like the original LPs). The others are in absolutely minimal cardboard sleeves, i.e. basically two-dimensional, with no spine at all.

That's a pretty cool collection. Yeah, standard X-mas fare there, but would be cool to have on one vinyl collection.

Great collection for a great price. But the inclusion of Rockin' Robin by Bobby Day has me scratching my head. It's neither a Christmas, holiday nor winter song...at least the version I have heard. Was there a Christmas version of this song released at some point?
