Pretty much. Probably due to the fact that so many of us buy every possible variation of the album a dozen times over accounting for about half of Paul's total sales!
How cool would it be if this MCIII were a compilation of edited/ partially rearranged rare tracks from the vaults? Some kind of Cold Cuts Revisited and Updated, with a bunch of new tracks here and there?
Maybe. But even in the 80s a radio station would get a new record about a week before it hit the shops. Thats how we all found out about the latest singles.
Were you told specifics if the songs all have lyrics or if there are some instrumentals like the other McCartney albums?
Could McCartney III possibly be Paul's last studio album? It would be a fitting end considering his solo career began with the first McCartney album. Maybe he'll exclusively move over to EPs and singles like Ringo has. But knowing how much of a workaholic Paul is, I hope that wouldn't be the case.
I think you're right. I don't believe McCartney will ever do a "farewell tour" for instance. But of course, considering McCartney's age, this could be his last album. But that's what I also thought when Egypt Station was released
And no need to doubt that he WILL keep recording albums. No Doubt - Wikipedia When Arnie speaks, there's no going back
Iv been thinking every new album is the last one for a long time. I guess Paul will bop till he drop.
He will definitely keep working as long as he's able. If this does turn out to be his last album we can be sure it's not some grand masterplan. Not his style.
He thought himself that Memory Almost Full would be his last, even saying goodbye in the last song... And that was 13 years ago!
I don't think at all, and this album is the proof that it won't be the last. Why ? When Paul doesn't have anything plan, what he does: an album ! He doesn't want to have anything to do
I’ve seen posts about it all over social media. On twitter fans are putting the die emoji in their handles! very cute
In a way, Egypt Statement was a definitive, profound, and well thought out final statement. That he worked on for years. With footnotes and bonus home studio “one man band” new music to follow, God willing. It’s all bonus music at this point.
