Favorite Line From-Star Trek-TOS?

Spock"s exclamation when he realizes Kirk isn't dead. He actually smiled!

 

He is overcome with joy and relief...but only shows it for two seconds. Good scene.

 

I just realized I am hitting like on every single post. I think I really like ST:TOS a lot!

Beam Me Up Scotty!

 

After McCoy quips about Spock's reaction and a pig's eye....
"C'mon Spock, let's go mind the store."

 

That's right because that line was never actually used in TOS

 

Usually it was "Enterprise. Two to beam up" or Two to beam up Mr Scott"

Then there is "Beam me up Scotty, there is no intelligent life here". I had that on a T shirt.

 

Scotty: They called the Enterprise a garbage scow!

 

I had touched the face of God!

 

CLAYMARE: Your emotions are most discordant. We do not wish to seem inhospitable, but gentlemen, you must leave.
AYELBORNE: Yes, please leave us. The mere presence of beings like yourselves is intensely painful to us.

"Errand of Mercy" (my personal favorite)

 

No "Blah, Blah, Blah!"

 

Spock, after being treated by McCoy in Operation Annihilate:
"I'm also quite blind. An equitable trade, Doctor. Thank you."

And then he walks into the wall.

 

One more that struck me even as a kid:

“He was worse than dead.” - McCoy

Really??? What could be worse than dead? Then we found out.

 

Beam me up, Scotty?

 

Not spoken, but mouthed silently:

("His.... BRAIN...??")

 

"STERILIZE! STERILIZE!"

 

When Spock puts his mind meld on a heartbroken Kirk and says

“Forget........”

 

"Your logic was impeccable Captain. We are in grave danger."

 

I've been re-watching all of the TOS episodes lately and writing down the best lines that stick out to me...I've accumulated a whole bunch and, for some reason, find that Mr. Spock has many of the best, quotable lines...

This is currently my favorite, and I've found plenty of occasion to use it over the last while heh:

"I find your arguments strewn with gaping defects in logic." Mr. Spock to Dr. McCoy - I, Mudd

 

"Bonk bonk on the head!"

This was the first one I thought of. Easily the most powerful moment in any of the original series episodes.

"Stone knives and bearskins" is second though, only because I use it as often as I can as a metaphor for working in primitive conditions.
