    He’s excellent in it.
But .. he’s not the lead, appears second half of the movie .. it’s worth it for his great performance.

Didn't vote because I can't claim I actually like any of those movies.

Oh, I can enjoy some to a moderate degree - "Predator", "Recall", "True Lies", "Last Action Hero" - but I don't truly like them.

This list kind of surprises me - I thought I actually liked some of Arnie's non-"Terminator" flicks! :help:

Not the worst movie I've seen, but not good, either:

    Killing Gunther [Blu-ray] (2017)

Predator is the best non-Terminator Schwarzenegger film. One nice thing about that movie is that it has aged well. Set in a jungle, it could be from any time from basically the 60s on.

The top 3 for me, I've seen these movies more times than I can remember.

    Predator
    Total Recall
    True Lies

I would need a refresher on all the rest.

Yeah, I mean, when I was looking at the list, I was like “uhhh ...” outside of about three movies. If we were to include “The Terminator” movies, I’d only rate the first two as really worthwhile. Nothing beyond those.

Arnold is fun, but his stuff is not weighty in the least. Not everything needs to “Howard’s End” or whatever though. He was a huge box office draw for a period of time without a doubt.

You can argue the setting makes it "ageless", but the movie embraces too many standard 80s tropes for it to be timeless to me.

It's also not even the best "Predator" movie! :shh:

im loving the fact that some of his comedies, like Twins and Kindergarten Cop are keeping pace with the big budget action hero movies!

I don't see many big hit movies, and I have only seen a couple of films with Arnold in them, so not much point in my voting...

Howeveer I was quite surprised how much I enjoyed Total Recall. I wouldn't have called his performance brilliant, but it was at least credible.

The science was crap, of course, but hey it's based on a Philip K Dick novel, so what can you expect. It was an enjoyable fantasy.

He was the star in it, so that's my pick.

Honorable Mention: Hercules in New York 1970, credited as Arnold Strong.

Pumping Iron is definitely high on the list. Presented as a straight documentary, it was not. Arnold was acting, and his charisma dominates the film.

Predator & True Lies were the only 2 I voted for, & True Lies is the only "Ahhhnald" movie I have.

I think that including Terminator, T2, & those 2 I've seen a grand total of 15 of his films, & only Terminator, Predator & True Lies more than once.

Not the biggest fan of his, but then something like Kindergarten Cop isn't even on my radar, & the general premise of The Last Action Hero strikes me as ludicrous, so I've avoided it all these years.

The Conan/Red Sonja movies? I hate sword & sorcery movies of all kinds, so I'd never be interested in those to begin with.

Of his movies after True Lies I watched Eraser, tried to watch End Of Days, & watchedthe Expendables franchise.

I may be wrong, (it's been many years since I've seen the movie), but I think in this case "hood" was short for "hoodlum" & not the character's proper name.

    No I don't. :D

From the plot it looks exactly like the kind of movie I'd dislike immensely, & everyone I know personally that has seen it hated it. The entire thing looks silly & ludicrous; a cartoon cat detective, the antagonist from Amadeus is a character also? No thanks, & yes I know it's supposed to be a bridge between the "real world" & this kid's imagination. I hate movies like that.

I've never had the slightest interest in seeing it since before it premiered after I'd read about it's premise, & that hasn't changed an iota in the ensuing years. If you &/or anyone else likes it, that's great. I'll pass.
