The reissue of Goat's Head Soup made me ponder that there's only Mick's image on the cover. I wondered if any of the others offered any objections. Mick appears on his own on Love You Live and Tattoo You as well, but of course he wasn't the first Stone to grace a cover on his own

This happens quite often if it's a group that has a named singer they are pictured on their own, The Attractions didn't get on a front cover until Goodbye Cruel World and I think The Heartbreakers are on about half the covers they did with Tom Petty.
And over to you lot for further examples please

And of course the first album with a credit to The E Street Band only had Bruce on the cover

I you're going to allow that, there's five Tom Petty & The Heartbreakers albums alone.

  10. ...and although we didn’t know it at the time, Paul also appears On Please To Meet Me (he’s the hand on the right shaking the hand of The businessman)

  12. Bryan Ferry on “For Your Pleasure” - he’s on the back cover.

I did mention the Heartbreakers in the OP. The difference I felt was they were given credit on Tom's albums from the beginning, where The E Street Band didn't get a recording credit until the Live album
