It ain't no Feel Flows, but it's something.

 

VDP has been for reasons not always obvious or explained, since the BBs SMILE box, extremely publicly negative about anything involving either BBs or Brian, except when he was promo-ing the OCA re-release. I could imagine him refusing to cooperate with BBs historical archeology for a high-ticket item he didn't have a piece of.

 

It doesn't matter if Stamos is Twittering, acting as spokesman for insurance companies, or performing with The Beach Boys. It's all positivity and good vibrations. Feel the flow with Stamos and the Beach Boys.

No. From what a few insiders are saying on the smileysmile board things are actually moving backwards in terms of the completed set being released in its completed current form. Dropping hints that someone at BRI now objecting to inclusion of Dennis material (a new separate issue to original reason for holdup.)

 

I'm with VDP. Artists should be better compensated in this industry. Especially in this brutal new Spotify-era.

 

Found this at the Endless Harmony board. Obviously not indicative of anything concrete but almost certainly hinting at something imminent nonetheless.

Looks like Stamos came through.

 

I’m not believing it until Stamos confirms.

 

According to Howie Edelson (an insider who actually worked on the project) confirmed today the project is back on track!

He posted on the SmileySmile board this morning: "Things are good. It's moving forward"

 

This box can only be a boon for the Live/Stamos/Johnston/Cowsill lineups. Heck, it may even result in an increase in the amount of deep cuts that they play live.

 

Stamos is just a nutso BBs fan just like you and me. I can't begrudge him a thing, even if he's NOT the reason this set is coming out. (I am pretty sure last time I saw the touring BBs a year or so ago Stamos was the only performer on stage who said the name "Wilson" into a mic while announcing anything. He cares.)
