Cool. I am a big fan of Italian horror movies. I really need to get a hold of this one.
I have heard a lot of good things about it.

Got a box set of all those Basil Rathbone / Sherlock Holmes movies. They are all enjoyable and hold up well.

Last night we watched Resolution, good enough to explore the rest of the Benson trilogy.

The Wailing- Korean movie streaming on Amazon. The rural folks are becoming possessed and all blame the old Japanese man who recently came to town. It’s a bit long and there’s a whole lot of screaming but it is worth the watch.

I'm watching the Halloween movies I always skipped up to now, 4, 5 and 6.

Always watch Frankenstein, Bride of Frankenstein, and Young Frankenstein.

I'm not sure if I will categorize this as spooky. Definitely the best horror/suspense thriller I've seen with a very good storyline and a sad twist in the end.

Haxan last weekend. I know it's a classic and has some amazing scenes, but mostly I found it depressing.

Those Werewolf movies must be very creepy to watch in Michigan, with its rich history of 'Dogman' Lore & 'Bray Road Beast' sightings .. :yikes:

I don't usually watch a lot of Halloween stuff because we're usually away on vacation at this time of year, but this year will be different. So far we've seen Lovecraft Country, which was a mixed bag, and Amazon's Nocturne, which passed the time but I couldn't recommend. Also Roger Corman's The Pit and The Pendulum, which I've just bought on Blu-Ray and seems more the sort of thing that this thread is looking for. I'm actually not sure that I had seen that one before.

I'm a big Dario Argento fan so it's always tempting to reach for Suspiria or Profundo Rosso but I'll try to remember to check back here with my actual viewing.

I normally go with horror-related films in October, but this year I've opted to revisit two of my old TV favorites from front to back:

    True Blood
    The Walking Dead

Those are taking up most of my time, but I have managed to sneak in a few films too:

    The Lighthouse
    Feast
    The Strangers

Per tradition, I'll watch Halloween (1978) on the 31st!

I've been immensely enjoying the new Friday The 13th deluxe box this past week.

I was thrilled to finally see many of the "uncut scenes" for Part 2!

I wasn't aware of the length when watching. I like how it starts out as one genre and morphs into another. I thought the actress playing the young daughter was pretty frightening.

LOL. I like it too and started to watch it yesterday. After 5 minutes I decided I wasn't in the mood and watched a Lubitsch comedy instead.
