With apologies to #JRM who started the Bob Dylan Listening Thread I thought the Stones and the Beatles fans need the same thing. With that in mind...
I just listened to Its Only Rock N Roll, I love that record, the reissue sounds good and a but fuller than my old frisbee.
Lately i could post 6 different pictures each day, i'm on a massive Stones discovery period. I'm mostly done with the 60's, however...
Here am i. Virgin 1994. This is the one i listen the most these days. (On shuffle this time). I wasn't that impressed at first. I think it's great.
I already love that topic. Just like the STP album-by-album thread a few months ago this one's coming at most the perfect time for me : mostly at home and intensely dedicated to that particular band.
It's Ronnie's personal interpretation of "characters woven into the Stones story" according to the mail-out. Don't take it too seriously I listened to the "She's a Rainbow" No Filter version 10" yesterday. Sounded good!
I've been reading Bill Janowitz's "Rocks Off" which I am really enjoying. Trying to sort of keep a low internet profile today so I listened to Beggar's Banquet and Let it Bleed on Spotify. Think I am going to work my way at least through the 70's for the next few days.
