Ah that sucks. I really enjoyed the series and was looking forward to seeing how they ended it. I've seen the SAG-AFTRA requirement for on set safety. There's definitely a big cost associated with it. I wouldn't be surprised if we see more cancellations due to cost.
Shame about Tosh, I loved that show and I have a sort of sentimental attachment to it. Drinking beers in my friends basement and watching those crazy videos and laughing
Yeah, mentioned on previous page. It had been renewed, but has fallen victim to covid. ABC cancels 'Stumptown' over scheduling issues related to COVID-19
Now the latest COVID-related cancellation is on Becoming A God In Central Florida. ‘On Becoming A God In Central Florida’ Canceled By Showtime, Won’t Proceed With Season 2 Due To COVID – Deadline
I was meaning to get around to watching season one soon, is it still worth it or does it end on a cliffhanger?
Just great shows if you enjoy police brutality, entrapment, dog bites, and racial/economical profiling. It's amazing how they can smell marijuana sitting inside a police car with the windows rolled up from fifty yards away.
Season 3 is being shot now and will be released sometime in 2021. It, along with everything else, was delayed due to Covid 19 but it is renewed and in production.
Season 5 of Queen of the South on USA is in production and should be out summer 2021. If you're not watching it you should be.
Yes indeed, really enjoyed this show from the beginning and and am always surprised that it hardly ever gets a mention anywhere
Altered Carbon, the first season, took some time to find its legs, but ended strongly--and it had buzz. But the second season? I made it through two episodes and bailed. Not surprised they aren't getting a third season.
They also canceled Teenage Bounty Hunters. I liked that show a lot more than Glow, and it seemed to do well (was in the top 10 for quite a while). I wonder why they canceled that?
I haven't even looked into Series 2 yet. Seems an awful bit of a stretch, following a character plucked out of an existence he never even started in in the first place, and then putting the character into a whole different scenario...without even the same actor(s)!
