Walmart Nov 14 Black Friday vinyl sale

Yeah, pretty weak selection for things I was looking for and I noticed like 5-6 already sold out

There are 200+ counting non Walmart exclusives including a few Pink Floyd albums but nothing I needed so looks like i'm passing on this sale as well unless more things get added.

I grabbed that Mandalorian soundtrack along with a vacuum. Taking a chance. Im not into picture discs but im also not into the Mondo 8lp set.

 

Was hoping that some of the pricier items would be on sale, but at least this means I don't need to be at Walmart early tomorrow.
I grabbed Nirvana Nevermind & MTV Unplugged, as well as the Best of R.E.M. to get to the free shipping threshold.
I entered the UPC of the Bernie Grundman cuts of the Nirvana records into the Walmart search bar and both came back as matches, fingers crossed they're really the BG editions.

 

I noticed several albums just by accident that were "in store only" and showed how many my local had so i'm guessing the selection on sale will be larger in stores still but that ad was confusing so who knows for sure.

 

Why?

 

Looks like prices for a lot of items have returned to their regular price. They’re still in stock but are no longer $15. Bizarre.

The sale is far more than just the select records that appeared for $15 online last night. In my store every record was on sale. I grabbed The Beatles 1, The Wall, and Dark Side of the Moon.

 

yeah it said all records in store, i think the online was just select.
I have to get groceries anyway so i'll swing by and see what terrible selection my store has.

 

Unbelievable prices on all vinyl.
They had a case of Kiss Love Gun lps on floor along with numerous others not listed.
This may be a $500 dollar day......my poor wallet.

 

really pissed that i missed out on this. it's literally the only exclusive of theirs that i want.

 

My Walmart had none of the new exclusives and of course no one at the electronics counter knew anything about the sale. I bought The Wall, Eagles - GH Vol 1 and 2, No Doubt - Icon, AC/DC - PWR/UP, Bad Company - Rock and Roll Fantasy, and Queen - GH Vol 1 & 2. All were $15 each .

I snagged Fleetwood Mac - Tusk and Def Leppard Hysteria online last night and missed out on Boston - S/T on blue vinyl as I waited too long to check out.

 

Swung by today and yeah, everything is $15. Everything I picked up except 1 album were double albums, so good value. Nothing I picked up was a Walmart exclusive release except CCR Chronicle.

 

Dreaded going to Walmart but the mrs needed some things so I decided to go along. Glad I did.

Eagles - Hell Freezes Over
Any one of these 3 would have made the trip worthy.

Metallica - Puppets, Lighting, and Justice. Settled on just the Black Album and my son did grab Justice.

I checked the price of the AC/DC PwrUP and it rang up at full price at my store. I guess you got lucky.

 

ACDC red vinyl rang up for me at $15 today too!

 

Damn, maybe i need to try again tomorrow. Most of the stuff I picked up today rang up at $15, but not that one or the new Chris Stapleton.

I was wanting to get the Doors Greatest Hits, but the store near me didn't have it. They had a pretty good selection though

Listening to CCR right now - sounds fantastic

 

I checked around midnight when the $15 titles were coming online, but the only item I was interested in (Grand Funk Hits) never showed up. Nice that there was an online option for many of the titles.

 

Grabbed Kiss- Love Gun and Destroyer Ressurected, Boston- S/T, Hendrix- Smash Hits and F. Mac- Rumours. Does anyone know if the Guns-n-Roses Greatest Hits double lp is $15 as well?

 

Yep all album's were 15.

 

I had Grand Funk in my cart, but it was listed as OUT OF STOCK.
The green vinyl CCR Chronicle was also in my cart and it showed OUT OF STOCK. But I found the green CCR at a store. So the Grand Funk might be available at a store, somewhere.

 

Is the in-store sale today only or does it extend the rest of the week? Couldn't make it out today, but have some errands to run tomorrow.
