How is the sound quality of your Zappa picture disc? Probably would look nice hung on the wall in your dorm room.
It wasn't clearance, just discounted. After tax and shipping (oversized item) it was almost $70 as i remembered Dead box sets end up sitting on my shelf for years
Well they charged me for mine on Friday so mine sure as hell had better have shipped by now too. Not a fan of DDs preorder action.
We shall see... just ordered it last night, happy to follow up when it shows. It's mastered by BG so ostensibly it should sound good. But yeah, it's a picture disc and I don't expect that tech has improved much. A couple Discogs reviews gave the pressing a thumbs up though, and at least one SHF peep on this thread liked it. I just bought the Hot Rats reissue on pink vinyl. Unfortunately, it has a hideous label, with a odd image of Frank in a laughably ugly design that makes me wonder whether I should have stuck with my original pressing. I will withhold judgment until I give the “pinky” a listen.

Not all that impressed with this batch. I found enough to make an order but thought it was pretty slim overall.
Yeah, I noticed that. Might want to check on Pop Market for them too—the prices are usually a little higher, but free ship so it might work out cheaper there?
Well I only went through one page (of 250) on vinyl and managed to put 15 items in my cart. Lots of gold here, including a few MOV titles that I was literally holding in my hand to buy a few days back but decided they were too much $. Glad I didn’t splurge now! I’m planning to go through the CDs later too, as I see they added about 2,000 of those to the Bin. Wow!
Both the cash's are a total of $3 higher at pop market but with free shipping ...and no coupon. so it pretty much evens out to be the same either way.
