Strange there seems to be so little love for Midnight Cowboy. Fantastic movie imo.

My favorite of these, by a mile, is One Flew Over The Cuckoo's Nest.

 

So true about Midnight Cowboy. One of my faves and one of the greatest movies ever made if you ask me.

I’m surprised Patton and From Here toEternity made weak showings. Payton is fabulous film making with a young Francis Ford Coppola writing much of it.

 

On the Waterfront and Godfather 2 are my #2 and 3 all time favorite movies. Also checked off Godfather 1 and The Apartment.

 

I think it's just the level of competition!
