Exciting one with the daily limited pressing today as I'm huge Drive-By Truckers fan and thrilled to get the new archival live from Austin release for a deal. Squeaked just over 100 bucks to get free shipping and picked up 8 albums:

DBT Live from Austin & Brighter Than Creation's Dark Reissue
The Flatlanders - The Odessa Tapes
Kris Kristofferson - This Old Road & Closer to the Bone
Steve Earle J.T. pre-order (not part of sale)
Justin Townes Earle - Kids in the Street
    Rodney Crowell - Close Ties

Thanks for the heads up on this one!

I grabbed 4 latter day John Hiatt titles.
I always liked Slow Turning and Bring the Family back in the day, then picked up Eclipse Sessions last fall and really like it. This guy is remarkably consistent, IMO.

John Hiatt - Same Old Man $9.00
John Hiatt - The Open Road $16.00
John Hiatt - Dirty Jeans And Mudslide Hymns $14.00
John Hiatt - Terms Of My Surrender $9.00
    $48.00 + Shipping $10.79

Didn't let my usual determination to get free shipping cause me to overbuy; held my nose and paid the $10.79 since the prices were otherwise so good- averages out to a little less than $15 per title, two of them are 2lp (3 music sides, one side etched).

I'm guessing there are probably other New West artist/titles that I'd enjoy. But I'm not really familiar with any of them, except maybe Old 97s. The super fast weird drumming sorta turned me off from them though.

Thanks for this. Had Drive By Truckers "Live from Austin" BF release and Jason Isbell "Sirens of the Ditch" deluxe vinyl in my cart last night but the shipping was giving me pause. This cut it down enough to pull the trigger. Looking forward to it!

i sure hope the nikki lp is better than the standard release that's been out for a while. the pressing quality of that was truly abysmal and a real disservice to such a cool album.

My guess is it isn’t much better but I’m still getting it
I find their pressings to be very hit or miss, the live in Austin seem to be a lot better than the standard new west stuff

i checked into that and it looks like the live records seem to be pressed in europe at MPO, so that would explain it.

anyway, great sale. at $8-$12 per LP it's worth a shot!

Their pressings really tend to vary - I have a ton and can add a few recommendations later but I'll add that the latest Steve Earle is an excellent pressing. i have just about all of his new west releases and this one is definitely the best so far (and in mono!). Highly recommend.

Lots of good Hiatt material (John and Lily) there for the grabbing. Also a load of Live in Austins, $14 per double LP, if you go to the later pages.

I'd suggest throwing in "Eclipse Sessions." (his latest). It's an especially good one.

THANK YOU to Rentz for the original post and Suedebelly for the discount code. I bought a lot of the Austin City Limits concerts (typically opting for the CD/DVD combos), John Hiatt and sampled some new performers (on $3.20 CDs).

Free shipping in the US for orders over $50.

I’m glad I waited. This is a better deal than 20% off.

My stuff from New West already arrived even with Thanksgiving thrown in there. This is definitely the fastest I have ever received an order from them. Hopefully they can keep it up!
