Elton John Jewels arrived today, beautifully packed, but it's the 3LP version rather than the 8 CD box that I ordered, so it really was too good to be true! Now begins the annoying process of dealing with 3rd party sellers through Amazon.

Ok quick question. Is anyone trying to preorder stuff from AmazonAU still and if so how have your experiences been?

I personally dread the thought of doing so in light of the fact that from what I've observed nothing seems to come through especially rare box stes and limited releases....

I was thinking about this while playing the new Thin Lizzy Rock Legends box set which seems to already be scarce everywhere and I don't believe has even appeared on AmazonAU at all...

Any stories good or bad??
