For some reason that page won't load on my phone.

    But this sounds incredible!

    Can't wait.

So is this including Yoko-led albums, STINYC and live stuff?

From what I understand it is only material from the John Lennon/Plastic Ono Band LP.

I'm thinking "extravaganza" misunderstood the OP interpreting it as a box set of all the albums featuring the various Plastic Ono Band BAND configurations. But you're speaking strictly of the "POB" album, correct ?

159 mixes!? That's almost a hundred more than the Imagine box set. Needless I’m really looking forward to seeing what songs and takes they choose, and what could possibly fill out that many tracks (and hopefully it’s not, say, 20 different takes of “My Mummy’s Dead”).

As time has gone on, ATMP is starting to seem increasingly less imminent. Hope I'm wrong.

That's correct. Just the John Lennon/Plastic Ono Band LP.

And to assure iHeartRecordsAz, there were only two takes of 'My Mummy's Dead'.

I have a book style CD boot featuring out takes from POB. It includes, among other things, 17 versions of Love and 18 versions of Hold On. Apparently, there's a lot to choose from!

It took all those takes to get "COOKIE!" in just the right place with proper elocution.

It's live here in Australia. You should be able to hear it soon. George's vocal right up front similar to the Lennon 'ultimate mixes'.

Should be available at 12:00 midnight where ever you live, but yes, a brand new mix (by Paul Hicks) of the title track.

There has been a press release posted over at the George Harrison Archive Speculation thread, announcing an announcement early 2021.

I prefer George’s voice buried in the murk.

I will be first in line to buy or download. Sounds great! No longer sounds like I'm hearing it in my high school gym.

Confusing post. If only it had been called John Lennon/Plastic Ono Band Box Coming...

Alternate takes from YO/POB - you got my hopes up:shake:.

What I want is a box that includes both John’s and Yoko’s albums. I’ll take a nice treatment of just John’s album if that’s what we get, though. But I see no reason not to include both.
