I heard that the warehouse(s) that the merchandise is shipped from were purposely built close to Hutlock's residence so that he didn't have to wait too long for his many orders.
Hahahaha well if it makes anyone feel better, my Taylor Swift LP has been sitting in pre-shipment status with USPS for days and days.
Received three orders today. Everyone else must be basking in the glow of their DDBB finds! There are a couple Magenta titles still in the bin for less than $10 for both. "Home" has to be one of the most immediate prog albums I've heard in years. Listening to Vangelis now (#500 even!). If there is something wrong with the pressing as suggested earlier, I'd never know. Obscure winner so far... Kayak – Golden Years
Howdy. New follower to this thread. Or just a reprinting of the original CD?
It’s just a straight reissue of the original CD but on a different label. It was the one that came out earlier this year along with the vinyl reissue.
DARN IT! I already have the original issue. I was hoping for a remaster. Oh well... But at least I'll be able to have a new, pristine copy.
Deep Discount's website shows a couple of coupon codes good until 5 PM central time this Thursday the 3rd. CYBER10 gets you 10% off two or more in-stock items, and CYBER15 gets you 15% off three or more in-stock items.
Apologies if this has been answered before, but does anyone know how frequently they add new items to the Blowout Bin? I've only recently discovered it and I keep checking obsessively and getting upset that I can't find anything new. LOL! Also, how fast do items usually sell out? (That is, if anyone else obsessively pays attention to that sort of stuff.)
If we knew those answers Padawan, we would never share. OK, really. It is all random. The bin gets updated when the bin decides to update. Sometimes it is subtle, others it is a major dump. As for the numbers of each item, wait at your peril. There may be only one. There might be over a hundred in stock. This is the way. #nerdalert
All of what my man @SJP says above is correct but I would say for sure to sign up to watch this thread. We stay pretty active as far as posting cool stuff we find and especially when the big new listings happen. Glad to have you aboard! Hope you have a lot of room on the shelves!
This is the first and only time I will say that a "major dump" sounds incredibly exciting. Thanks for the answers, guys. I'm glad I found this thread.
Admire the username my friend! Maybe we can will Deep Discount into adding the LOTR vinyl soundtrack boxes into the discount bin...
I literally refresh the Bin page 100 times a day lol! They used to add tons of stuff to their blowout vinyl section of their Ebay store but they hardly put stuff there any more. We must be buying them all up before they can get there lol.
$8.73 for James Taylor Quartet 2LP blue etched. Is it AAA? Also blue Music on Vinyl (digital) of Elvis Good Times for $8.25 (apologies if these have been covered)
I am not sure about the JTQ being AAA at all but as that is very rare these days and considering when it was recorded, I’m going to guess no. Love JTQ though, this one is already on the way to me. Also, coupons for 10% and 15%!off are still active until this afternoon... Buy 2 items get 10% off with CYBER10 Buy 3 items get 15% off with CYBER15
CD deal here, but an amazing album that you all should own: Pop Group We Are Time [Import] on DeepDiscount It’s actually kind of funny because it is a “mini LP sleeve”—the original LP cover is a plain, generic black cutout sleeve. Lol.
The Replacements Pleased To Meet Me on DeepDiscount List price is $64.98, currently selling for $35.95 (45% off). Not a bad deal there at all. Amazon selling for $38.59 just FYI.
