Of Montreal has some fantastic stuff. My favorite album on the label is Deerhoof's Offend Maggie. Polyvinyl Records - Artists, News, Music - Shop Vinyl, Merch, Music and More It's kinda avant garde progressive garage rock from San Francisco, with a female singer from Japan. It's... unique, and not necessarily for everyone, but they have one of the best drummers in the game (Greg Saunier, who did an album with Sean Lennon), and are killer live. All of their albums are pretty good, but this one in particular is layered, deep, and consistent. Hell, I guess I'll buy a copy after talking about it so much Already had it on black, but that purple vinyl is purdy.
La Sera "Music for Listening to Music To" is very good, kind of Pretenders/Smiths-y. All of the Sonny and the Sunsets albums are fine, garagey pop from SF that will appeal if you like Jonathan Richman. Saturday Looks Good to Me - "All Your Summer Songs" is great, sixties pop with dub touches in the production and various singers, reminds me of His Name is Alive's "Stars on ESP"; the main dude sings more on their later albums, which aren't nearly as good.

How slow has DD delivery been lately? They've always been slow, & now they have a banner stating they are slower than usual.
My latest order was placed on the Jan 4th. Shipped on Jan 5th, and is scheduled for delivery today. Though Looking at the USPS tracking, It doesn't show the package anywhere near me yet.
I have been getting shipments frequently. Maybe s bit slower but nothing drastic. Basically it is the USPS delay every vendor is experiencing.
