    Picked up The Shield complete ( file case dvd box). Seemed to enjoy this the first time a number of years back.

    Just Started The Young pope. I found the pilot a bit too long; the first hour was very slow but the second one proved the show has potential;
    Looking forward to see the rest of the season.

    I LOVE The Shield. Earlier this year I watched the entire series again, probably for like the 5th or 6th time. Always pickup on new stuff every time I watch.

    Just remember I seen Bates Motel 1-5.
    Ha! Didn’t get of to a good start as the discs in S1 box was S3. Series got better around season 4, with imo S5 the best one.

    Any continuity stories?

    I read David Lynch said Twin Peaks is Peyton Place meets Blue Velvet.

    I think that is true for the original series, with all the romantic entanglement dramas amongst mostly the high school kids, but the new series set that aside (thankfully IMO) for more weirdness than imaginable.

    Liked Peyton Place when I was a kid, even though it was more an adults show. 1960‘s preferred The Fugitive. Lynch contemporary TV favorites ( I read) are BB and Mad Men.

    The last episode of The Shield is the best finale of any series I've ever seen...

    Very fast paced show similar to 24, though better than 24 ( I found for consistency). What happened to the main Shield actor, seen him playing the Thing, then in a film with J Lo & Jason Statham?
