Yes, this is the final series. I think Spiral peaked in series 3 and 4 and has gone on a little too long, but have been glad to see it come back all the same.

 

Season 3-7 the peak for me. I enjoyed the final season very much but

I miss key characters Roban, Pierre, Tintin and Herville.

I finished season 8 last night. I guess it was a satisfying series finale, although it leaves the future up in the air for a few characters.

 

Finished 8 as well. I like how the characters have evolved since Season 1. In retrospect they could’ve named the series The Life and Times of Laure Berthaud.

 

And the production values got much better. I'm so glad they ditched those ridiculous zoom shots after a few seasons.

 

One of the very best shows. I finished season 6 yesterday and started season 7. Gilou is the most interesting character, as is Judge Roban.
