I don't want A (or Broadsword) just give a Benefit book then I'm done, that's it as far as JT goes imo.
I am thrilled about this and I have been anticipating this release for a long time but I liked my "The Stupid Jumpsuits Edition" title a lot more.
I opened the thread expecting a tracklist and/or detailed description, but I guess that will come next week. My guess: Disc 1 - A plus some outtakes Discs 2/3 - Live in L.A. November 1980 DVD1 - A surround mix DVD2 - Slipstream
Can't wait. I've got all the book sets so far and will keep buying them as long as they make them. Some of the earlier sets I thought I was least interested in (e.g. Too Old to Rock n Roll & Warchild) turned out to be the most enjoyable. 'A' was originally a case of I loved side 1 but rarely played side 2. Therefore there's a good chance I'll get more out of the side 2 material with the Wilson remixes.
A German fan who knows more than the average fan said we can expect some surprises with the A box. Can't wait for it. I love the album and I am glad that Steven did it.
That was the case for the "Songs from the Wood" era as well if you think about it. The bonus tracks on the remaster were a "Heavy Horses" outtake and a live performance. Laufi?
He said we can expect some nice surprises and a bad one. I first feared that the bad one was that not Steven did the remix but as it seems the bad news is that they erased the unused video of the concerts and the little bit that was left has the digital effects from the slipstream video on it....
Yes I understood. Non of the remasters had outtakes that weren't released before (except warchild) We could wonder about the outtakes because there were non on the 20 years box or nightcap but not because of the remasters.
Was that a thread on his forum? If so can you link that? I don't speak German but I suppose Google could do an intelligible automatic translation of it.
I'm done with the Tull box sets. Anything past Storm Watch does not pique my interest (or make me want to fork out boatloads of money).
