Thanks. Jeff Buckley and Wrecking Ball ordered. I will get a second copy of the MC5 when it goes under $15!

Received my MC5 set yesterday...all three LPs are warped like potato chips and fingernail feel-able scratches on Kick Out the Jams and Back in the USA. :(
    Hopefully the replacement is better!

I got this for about $15 a year or so ago at Urban Outfitters. Really nice packaging. If you’re not a Coldplay hater, there’s some interesting material here. If you’re a Coldplay hater, well you can be grateful that it’s a double LP so it can really help you fill some time during lockdowns with some intense Coldplay grumbling. :D

Have any of you had success with Warehouse Deals? I only recently learned this was available in Canada, so took a shot at it. I bought:
    • Holly Dolly Christmas on CD for $6-ish
    • The Cure Join The Dots box set for $31
    • A Mono guitar case for $135 (these are well over $300 normally)
The guitar case had the lowest grading (Used-Good) but was in perfect condition except for a beat up box.

The Dolly Parton CD had a cracked corner in the case.

The Cure set had torn cling wrap, but was perfect once opened.

Given these have a 30 day return policy, it is low risk and I was very happy with the outcome.

It’s been a mixed bag with the LPs I’ve ordered. Some of the descriptions of the damage makes me hesitant to buy

I've had good luck with CDs and Blurays, but LPs are often returns I think and tend to have lots of clicks and pops IME.

I've had good luck with LPs from Warehouse deals... a few LPs with minor corner dings that looked and played great. One title came dead mint, but they put a big "INSPECTED" sticker on the back..

Yes. I have had the stickers. They don't come off! I have also had a 4 LP box sent without packaging Hoffs Sweet Under the Covers). They just stuck a mailing label on it. Unbelievably, it made it with no damage (other than the sticker - no cellophane, right on the box. Usually the discount is not enough for me to take the risk. I have stopped looking for them.

I've managed to score some good items and prices through Warehouse Deals. From my experience, it has been hit or miss. Some items are like new, while occasionally I've received items with fairly significant damage (which didn't justify the discount, IMO). But definitely worth the gamble, as you can easily return the items.

That's strange, as it's a Prime item and shipped by Amazon.ca. I'll never understand Amazonl; from pricing, to packaging, to shipping - I'm often left scratching my head.
