You've got me wondering if the original UK mono pressings have it. Probably not, but it's possible. I don't have one because every mono pressing I've seen hasn't been in great detail.
I have a lot of the tracks on original 45s in excellent condition, but have never compared them to the stereo LP.
I see that Start Walkin’ 1965-1976 is delayed to 26 March... Was supposed to be released next week... www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B08LN5LMXM
I was trying to order this on Friday from my record shop. They told me it was sold out and a second pressing is being planned. Are they mistaken?
There has been no release yet. I suspect the delay for physical releases is due to backlogs at the pressing plants. For up-to-date info, follow thread at Nancy’s forum: START WALKIN' 1965-1976 (2021)
Short interview from Rolling Stone: The Last Word: Nancy Sinatra on What Her Father Taught Her and How She Saved 'These Boots Are Made for Walkin” What did you think when Lana Del Rey said she wants to be a “gangster Nancy Sinatra”? She’s a sweetheart. I haven’t met her, but she gave me such a gift by saying what she said, putting my stuff back out there. I sure wish Lana would record something with Nancy!
I think I read the CD and vinyl are both delayed until March -- though the digital version is still due tomorrow.
I managed to pre-order the Sugar Town Pink vinyl, nice of Nancy to push the release back to my birthday
The CD appears to still be coming tomorrow, as she's been sharing people getting their hands on it on her Instagram.
Except tomorrow is my birthday (!!) and this was going to be a gift from my wife I guess you win this time Phil
I'm guessing stereo, as the RSD 7" was all stereo. But we shall see. I wouldn't be shocked if they used the mono for Bang Bang, BUT the mono does have a lower fidelity than the stereo. We'll see.
