Too early to begin hypothesizing and theorizing about the next and final season (which is filming now and will air in late 2021)? For example, will it be the end of Giselle? Or does she return to save Gene . . . I mean Albrecht . . . from the forces that would destroy him?

Coming Gene-sanity: “You’re going to see a lot of insanity, as the wheels come off the cart.” ‘Better Call Saul': Bob Odenkirk Teases ‘a Lot of Insanity’ for Gene in the Final Season
No spoliers! Forum speculation is OK, but when those loose-lipped producers, writers and cast members get talking . . .
Thought it a backward step when they killed off the Christopher Guest character, season 6 has some making up to do.. Still my favorite series, and dread seeing it end.
I just rewatched the first season via blu ray for the first time since it aired. Good lord - they had it all figured out since day one. It's just brilliant.
Too much tying in already. Liked it better when it didn't have so much borrowed interest in BB. We already got a totally unnecessary El Camino piggyback onto BB. We don't need more unless it's truly inspired and not just trying to leach off the BB popularity. Best thing about BCS by far was the Chuck-Jimmy dynamic. I'm willing to play along to see where Kim, Nacho and Lalo end up but if it's just a nice neat package tidied up to make for a clean, predictable ending for BB fans, I won't be impressed.
Yeah, I don't really want to see it tie into BB so neatly either. I'm more interested in what happens to Kim and what happens to Gene.
I'm horrible at predicting what happens, but it seems like there are only three options: Jimmy gets her killed (almost happened last season); she gets fed up with Jimmy and leaves for good (she's been repulsed before but always circles back to him); he has to get her a new identity to save her life (most likely I think).
Maybe Kim uses the vacuum guy, and that's how Saul learns about his services. Perhaps it evens connects to the Gene story line.
Same here. Just finished our S1 re-watch last night. We are watching one episode per week trying to lead into the final season. All those shots of Chuck's lantern. Brilliant. The re-watch value here is off the charts.
Well given that Robert Forster is gone, I wouldn't expect that to be a focal point. But she has to disappear somehow and unless she's killed or gets fed up with Jimmy, this seems to be the only logical way. Also, Gilligan clearly sees this as a "favorite" way to exit every main character. He did it to Walt, Jesse and Saul. I don't like how the "new identity" card was played so prominently but it sure seems like Gilligan is driving hard to that hoop for Kim. It also isn't necessarily the final word, as getting the new identity didn't stick with Walt and also Gene has now been identified as Jimmy.
