I haven't got it yet. It's on my list. I was rather surprised to see Freddie on the cover by himself. I've read mixed reviews about the sound quality but I need it for the collection for sure.
You can have mine if you want it. I think it is horrible, I believed I offered it for sale like $10 earlier in the thread but I 4get the price for sure (had no takers). At this point I just want it out of here to save my more valuable storage space. First $10 offer gets it & that includes shipping if you are in the USA. If against the rules to do that in this thread someone please let me know and I'll make a thread for it in the classifieds. I played the CD once and the did not play the DVD, I just checked and all is in mint condition.
Man that cover shot is bad. It's one thing to pull a guitar playing face but that looks more like someone making fun of someone doing the guitar face thing.
how are we doing in Outlaw land! been enjoying the first 3 albums along with the Henry Paul Band debut...never tire of these.
I gotta say, I'm really enjoying the "Live At Rockpalast" release. Listened to the cd 3 times at work through headphones and watched most of the dvd. The dvd was what I wanted the most. Yes, the sound is fairly ragged in places but overall a very enjoyable show. I've always thought the production on the "Ghost Riders" album was too slick, so it's great to hear those tunes without all the studio polish. The sound problems seem less noticeable on the dvd as well (but that could have been the headphones making them more noticeable on the cd). The only downside of the dvd is having to look at Rick Cua with those stupid glasses on. Never thought he looked like he fit in with the Outlaws.
It's very sad when nearly all the members of your favorite band are gone. : ( I miss those guys along with John Dawson of the NRPS who was a friend of mine....
Excellent deep track. One of my favorites also. Such an excellent album also. I always thought the deeper cuts like Heart Talkin', Heavenly Blues, So Afraid etc.... made this album. Of course, it has another favorite Holiday is here which doesn't hurt either. My goodness it's time to give this a listen again.
Here's a deep track for ya. One of my favorites. From a little known Outlaws album that has a couple gems. I 4get if we talked about this already. Can't recall how it ended up on this album (it's by Danny Kortchmar & Stan Lynch).
Ah.....Diablo Canyon right? Sounded familiar when I heard the chorus. Yes you are correct. A couple gems. If I remember correctly, Gary Rossington played on this album?
