I'm very sorry to hear that. In order to help you out I will tell you that the song I posted was Olivia Newton John's "I honestly love you" so you can find a youtube video that works for you if you want to as I could try many times & just get videos that don't work for you unless of course you're like me & have the song then you can fish it out of your collection. I'm very sorry about that.

    Lol.

I've liked this for decades, enough to bother to find a 45 of it for one of my two jukeboxes.

There are several others that come to mind, but they're well behind this one.

Inevitably I've thought of a load more:

Leonard Cohen - Take This Longing
Marty Robbins- El Paso (maybe not a conventional love song, but listen to the story!)
The Rolling Stones - Wild Horses
    Donovan - Josie and Turquoise
The Cascades - The Last Leaf (and Rhythm of the Rain is great, too!)
    Roy Orbison - Crawling Back
Junior Walker and the All-Stars - How Sweet It Is
Wayne Fontana - Come On Home
Simon and Garfunkel - For Emily, Whenever I May Find Her
Everly Brothers - It's Just Too Much and Always It's You
Gerry Rafferty - Right Down the Line
Scott Walker - Lights of Cincinatti

Some of these might crossover into the ballad category:

    Jane's Addiction - I Would For You
    Prince - So Blue
    James Brown - I Know It's True
Amy Winehouse - Love Is A Losing Game
The Flamingos - I Only Have Eyes For You
    The Doors - Blue Sunday
Ritchie Valens - We Belong Together
    Elvis Presley - Love Me

I mean, if you think about it, Do You Realize? is a beautiful love song. Or, if you realize it.

Such an underrated gem by Roy Orbison. It also happens to be Elvis Costello's very favorite Orbison song. I have long maintained that if Fred Foster had produced this outstanding single and Bill Porter had been the engineer on the session, Crawling Back would have been a much bigger hit record. The updated remastering for the wonderful MGM CD box set does sound pretty darn good though.

it sounds similar to another oldie Only You by The Platters, maybe it's just the style of those times.

My mum used to put this record on and call out to my (soft-hearted-under-his-gruff-Scots-exterior) dad, "This is how I feel about yooou!!" Two unlikely - from opposite ends of the planet - yet perfect lovebirds

Janie Frickie was one of the greatest singers to ever come out of a Nashville recording studio. She was well known as one of the premier background vocalists in Music City, but solo fame came calling when her single line background vocal on a Johnny Duncan hit (Stranger) managed to thrust her into the limelight. She had done back-up work for almost every great country music or pop legend in Nashville, when record producer Billy Sherrill signed her to a recording contract in 1978. Much like Karen Carpenter, Janie had near perfect vocal pitch and a velvet voice that could soothe the most hardened of hearts. Here is one of the prettiest and most romantic love songs I have ever heard and sung by a musical angel; I Loved You All The Way.
