Does anyone have any experience with these waxtime in colour pressings? Varied reports online

 

I avoid Waxtime, DOL, Not Now and all the other European grey market labels but that's a personal opinion.

If you want quality jazz vinyl, get onto the Blue Note Tone Poet series. A premium product at a regular price.

I have Australian Amazon Prime membership, which covers freight on orders over $50 from the USA and UK . But recently US and UK Amazon have been adding freight ($15) on some items over $50 - particularly vinyl box sets.

 

Yep, it's annoying when one of the benefits of paying for Prime disappears without a reason given! Presumably they charge postage regardless on all orders over x kg.

 

Very annoying, I have contacted Australian Amazon about it and have not received a reply - others may have had more luck.

I have only seen the extra postage on vinyl box sets, not CD box sets, and it seems to occur when the vinyl box sets have been heavily discounted.

 

Perhaps a sneaky way to recoup some of the money from a discounted item!
